Extra Curricular Activities
Thorpe Hall offers many extra curricular activities that run before school, during lunch times and after school.
An extensive range of extra curricular pursuits supports pupils' more formal academic education. Many of these activities are sports-oriented and pupils have extra opportunities to take part in football, cricket, rugby, hockey, badminton, netball, tennis, rounders and many others.
Our popular 'Choice' programme also gives pupils in selected year groups a chance to try out new activities every Wednesday afternoon. An impressive array of activities is offered including horticulture, squash, martial arts, rock climbing and archery and the programme is updated regularly. See Choice Afternoon
Young business minds are challenged each year by the School's BE@T initiative (Business and Enterprise at Thorpe Hall). This scheme invites commercially viable ideas from pupils, with the best being awarded a trading franchise.
In the Performing Arts there are LAMDA lessons, a big annual Drama production, choirs, orchestras and bands. There is also 'Theatre School' after school on Fridays.
