Parent Participation Guide

Useful links to help parents support learning at home

Children learn best when the significant adults in their lives -parents, teachers, and other family and community members - work together to encourage and support them.

The need for a strong partnership between home and school is extremely important and we are committed to open, flexible and regular parent communication.

In addition to scheduled parents evenings and termly school reports, staff are available to answer questions or discuss issues or ideas.

The school is now using an excellent scheme to promote the learning of reading and writing in the Lower School. You can find out more here.

We are always looking for new ways to provide parents with more information about their children's education and use 'Classroom Monitor' - an innovative piece of online software - to share information with parents and provide progress updates.
