Nursery Admissions
How to apply for a place at Thorpe Hall School (Pre-Nursey and Nursery)
Applications are welcome at any time but are dependant upon a place being available in the chosen year group. Below is an outline of the admissions process:-
Step 1: Ask for an appointment with the Headteacher, Mr Andrew Hampton. He will arrange to show you around the Pre-Nursery and Nursery so you can meet the team, see the facilities and gain a sense of the atmosphere and ethos. Please do bring your child to this appointment if you think it is appropriate.
Step 2: Complete and submit the Registration Form accompanied by a cheque for £50. You can pay by credit or debit card if you prefer.
Step 3: Subject to a successful visit, the School will offer your child a place in the Nursery or Pre-Nursery. You will need to accept this offer in writing before we can arrange dates and times for your child's initial 'settling in' sessions.
Step 4: Two 'settling in' sessions will be arranged during which your child will be invited to join the group and take part in the morning's activities. These sessions are free of charge and you are welcome to stay with your child during this time if appropriate. Settling in may take longer for some children and we will discuss our observations and recommendations with you to make the process as easy as possible.
